Today I celebrated my birthday (again!) in Ockero with Ulla's family - her sister, Corin, and husband, Gunner, and their son, Petter, and his girlfriend, Amy. And their dog, Stella.
Jack and I took the direct bus from town and, as we drove over the river, we looked back at the restaurant where we had celebrated the evening before
I was greeted with a special birthday cake, brought by Petter and Amy, made from spun merangue. It was delicious!
After lunch we went for a walk,
Then came the party dinner-
warm smoked salmon for the main course
and raspberry cake for dessert
It was very late by the time Jack and I returned to our flat in Gothenburg.
Truly a birthday to remember!
