Experiment in progress

Tomorrow I'm heading for the "left coast" on the 7:38 AM flight from Logan (i.e., leaving Lord's Point @ 0400 hours) for the Design Management Institute conference on "Design Thinking - make it Happen!" preceeded by a weekend in Gig Harbor with Mary, Mark, Alexis, and Ethan.

So, where's the experiment?

In the amount of stuff I'm taking -- a "carry-on bag" that will go in the hold because of sharp conents, a lihghtweight backpack, and a handbag.  Only my iPad, no computer.  The experiment is to detemine just how little I need for five days, to be scaled up for future travel.  I must confess, that my bag had so much remaining space that I added a couple of (unnecessary?) things.
