Changing the pace

Our "refugee camp" has closed - the displaced family of four plus dog returned to Canton yesterday evening and were delighted to find the power on.  They were excellent guests and it was fun to have them here, but of course it disrupted our lives as well as theirs.  Now I'm stepping up the pace of pre-packing piling (the piles are getting higher faster) and trying to get my virtual desk in order, with its ever-increasing piles of possibly relevant literature for the paper on assessment of student learning in a semester-abroad experience. Photography seems to have been forgotten -- I realized this morning that the refugees had left without pictorial documentation of their stay. For their sake, I wouldn't wish their return so I could take photos!
