Quiet

The Point is so quiet -- no one is working or even walking outside, and only the Monday morning trash at the end of driveways signals which houses have people living inside.  There seem to be very few Christmas lights -- and most of the decorated houses are ones that tend to have "seasonal" lights or other displays all year.  It's not THAT cold -- though the autumn storms meant that boats were taken out of the water early and trees and brush cleared after the hurricane.  It's just the start of the hibernation season, I suppose.

But hibernation isn't really an option, thanks to the device commemorated in today's Google-doddle -

I wonder how many I own!
