In between a very productive day. I'm coding and analyzing student essays for signs of intercultural competence for our (Jeannie Forray and me) "study abroad" research project. If you didn't already know how much I like working with primary data, you do now! I've completed the initial coding, so tomorrow I will "explore the data" and also check the coding my using random numbers to select 5% of the entries and write a detailed justification. I'll send this to Jeanie so she can check if she agrees.
And of course there was also time for beach-walking, exercising, sitting and reading, and swimming. A good day. Long may they last!
